How It Works
- Sellers must abide by the Terms of Use and all BuyOnIt Policies.
- Seller is responsible for packaging, handling, and shipment to the buyer.
- Seller will list a thorough and complete description of the item being sold in a non-misleading manner, with at least one picture.
- Seller can choose to insure an item and can include the fees into the listing price when listing an item.
- Seller must receive a tracking number for the shipment and display it in the tracking field under that item's description in the sellers's My BuyOnIt > Selling > Sold.
- If the buyer receives an item that is different than presented and advertised in the item's title and description, the buyer will then have the option to dispute the item. If the dispute is found in favor of the buyer, the buyer will ship the item back to the seller at the seller's cost.
- The seller is aware that they will be paid once all of the following actions have occurred:
- BuyOnIt user purchases the item
- Seller is notified of buyer's address and is informed to ship the item
- Seller ships the item, enters the tracking number, marks item as shipped
- Buyer receives the item and notifies BuyOnIt that the package has arrived
- Buyer receives the item and does not dispute the item (If buyer disputes the transaction, BuyOnIt will conduct an investigation. If BuyOnIt sides with the buyer, then the seller will be responsible for paying for the charges related to reshipment and any applicable chargeback fees to the buyer. If BuyOnIt sides with the seller, than the buyer will have to keep the item.)
